Stop Getting Your Facebook Account Hacked
First of all, I am kinda hater, I (almost) live online - as a freelance worker, the Internet is not a fancy commodity to me, I earn my bread and beer on it. And I Really Hate Facebook!
Yes, you got that right, I kinda hate wasting time on Facebook but the irony is, I am always on facebook - I keep the messenger open on my Opera Browser with a sidebar extension that comes built in.
But almost every day, there is a huge amount of status on Facebook claiming Account Hack.
Well, not all of those are targeted hack. You click on some porn link, you click some Easy Get Rich link - the take you to an external page, closing that you see that you are logged out and you use your FB Login Credentials there - well, that is called Phishing - that page actually redirects you to a phishing page that looks similar to Facebook.
So, first of all - stop clicking those kinky or greedy links - life is not that easy, even porn takes money to shoot and release.
Also, sometimes you use friends phone, public computer to use Facebook and just forget to log out, or click the Stay Logged In and/or Save Password Button/Popup without being careful, you forget to erase your browsing history - now anybody using that PC or Phone next, will have you without even trying!
Whenever you are using another device, please don't use the app on phone, use a browser. and for PC/Laptop - use Private Surfing Mode (Incognito Mode). When your browsing is done, just close the browser and everything (Your Browsing History, Cookies etc.) will be gone
Here are the shortcuts for different popular browsers:
Google Chrome:
Windows, Linux, or Chrome OS: Press Ctrl + Shift + N.
Mac: Press ⌘ + Shift + N
Firefox:
CTRL + SHIFT + P
Opera:
Windows, Linux: Ctrl+Shift+N
Mac: Press ⌘+Shift+N
The Real Hack is "Targeted Hack". Someone or somebody targets you and hacks your Facebook Account - yes that's the real hack. But, unless you are a very big shot, a celebrity, a huge public figure - no one will be looking to do it.
And to prevent a real hack, you just need to follow a few easy steps.
1- Don't use easy password as your name, birthdate, your SSN or ID Number, the secret Pet Name that you call your crush etc. Go to a Good Password Generator and create a super complex password. I personally prefer this one.
2- Use 2FA (Two Factor Authentication) - get a Security Code everytime to your cell phone as an SMS when you use a new device to log in to your precious (!!!) Facebook Account. And please don't click "Save Browser" or "Save Device" option when you are using any public device. You can also use the Google Authenticator App to do so. Also, you can Print recovery codes so that you can use them as 2FA codes when you are traveling.
3- Save some "Trusted Contacts" - you can select and save some trusted contacts on Facebook from your Friendslist so that they can help you recover your Facebook account if you are locked or hacked.
4- Make a Portable Browser - Download your favorite browser from here, make a portable edition of it and keep it on a flash drive and DON'T LOOSE IT!
I am not linking any "How To" or using any Step by Step Guide as I believe if you are online and if you are using an app like Facebook - you have that much grey matter to pick the keywords from this small read and Google it.
But the best thing is, stop being so obsessed with Facebook and stop being a narcissist freak - Read a book, pass some quality time with friends and family, make love - Get a Real Life!

Making a Cheap Water Cooling System for Laptop
I am a freelance worker and Laptops are my key weapon to earn my bread and beer. So, I always try to keep my laptops functioning. My primary laptop is a Dell Latitude E6410 and I use an HP 240 G2 as Backup.
Well, buying that HP was a very wrong decision as that particular model heats up too much and ordinary cooling docks can't help much. I was looking for a solution to that Over Heating issue for my HP laptop and found that I can use some DIY water cooling system available on Amazon and AliExpress. But as I live in Bangladesh, Amazon will take too much as Shipping, also the customs will make some issues as that certain item is not very known to them. And about Aliexpress, their packages go lost very often after they reach Bangladeshi Post Offices.
So I was thinking some innovative and easy to adopt a solution and something clicked my head. What about using a Hot Water Bag as a Cooling Device?
I can easily get a Hot Water Bag from any drug store, so I went to the nearest one and found that all their hot water bags are made of plastic and I will need an extra piece of cloth to wrap around if as I don't want my laptop get wet.
Then the drug store worker told me that there are some models that come with ready wraps and she can get me one in 2/3 days - I ordered one without seeing the real item.
Next day she called me to collect the item and it was very cute and nice! Cost only $1.2 more than regular Hot Water Bag! (the retail price of that model is near $4.1 Only).
Now, I took it home, poured some cold water from my fridge and placed my Laptop (HP 240 G2) on it and it worked as magic! No "Unexpected Shutdown for Extreme Heat"!
I am using an image from HomeCareOnline - I got the Pink One from my local store.
